"Because we were staying for Crufts the hotel was extremely busy and it did take a long time to check in. The room was good, the bed was comfy, we couldn't get the sofa bed to open up so my friend slept on the sofa as it was. The bathroom was very small and there was a crack in the sink which considering we paid nearly £500 for two nights I did think it wasn't very good. There was also cigarette ends outside the window, there is no smoking in the hotel so why were they there and why hadn't they...

"On the whole the stay was fine. However we had a meal in the restaurant and was told by the waiter it would be put on the bill. "The only bad thing I can say about our stay was that there was only 1 pillow each on the double bed. Normally, in every other hotel I have stayed in, there has either been 2 pillows each or 1 pillow each but 2 spare pillows somewhere in the room. Unfortunately, I didn't find another pillow so I thought it would be ok, however, I woke at 2am with back pain, so had to use a folded towel to put under my pillow, which helped a little."

"I stayed at the hotel a day before I was to continue there for a conference. Whitney is amazing!!! Just awesome! Nothing was too much trouble. However, I asked the gent in the mornings at the desk to please refill my shower gel and he didn't - I had to ask Whitney and it was done almost immediately. Breakfast was ok - wasn't awesome. Not a lot of choice in drinks and no hot chocolate for those who do not drink coffee. It was a very nice stay, just wish that the shower gel and shampoo was checked...
