"I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Emblem - it's a charming hotel. A number of hotels in this area seem to spend their money on lobby decor and doormen and have very blah rooms. In contrast, Hotel Emblem feels like it puts more money into its room (though the lobby is nice and there's also a cute coffee shop attached). The staff were lovely and the Expedia package I was on waived the resort fees (which I think are in general a rip-off). The area around the hotel is safe - as it's a few blocks up...
