"Hotel is going through major renovations. Our initial room on the 5th floor was showing its age and did not have hot water in the shower. We asked for a change of room and received a room/suite on the 7th floor which was already renovated. Staff accommodated all our needs and were very pleasant. Lighting was a bit sparse in the room but the view overlooking a canal and small harbour was beautiful. "

Only downside was nothing labelled at breakfast.. as a vegan I didn’t know what I could eat and the staff seemed confused as well, which was disconcerting. There was no hot breakfast for me. Should be promoting a plant based diet if the hotel wants to be considered truly green."

I had excellent help from the front desk, Leo and Bram at the bar, excellent and knowledgable Maintenance guy, Michael, who fixed the safe and my luggage, and the room service lady. This hotel is a gem. Very comfortable too. Don’t expect USA size rooms of course, but my 2 stays now were perfectly adequate and comfy. "This hotel I didn’t like at the beginning. Everything done online and self check in and check out. It is a very heavy on tech including the garage for the parking. You need to install an app that you pay for and every time you exit or enter you need Internet to connect to the app and open/exit. That was the only negative experience.
