The room could have been cleaner, there was a long black hair on the pillow. There was only one towel - a bath towel. the room itself was very cramped with no shelving or tables.

Great location; quick walk from Amsterdam central train station and close to most downtown attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a budget hotel with no amenities. It is more like a dormitory with private rooms. Rooms are VERY small which is typical of budget hotels in this area. The room was relatively clean. Be aware that this hotel does not have elevator and stairs are super narrow and awkward! Dragging heavy bags up and down stairs is a challenge. You may want to take out whatever cloths you need and leave rest if you luggage at the office.
