"A nice hotel near the centre of Newcastle. The outside and lobby has kept it's heritage style, however the rest of the hotel has been updated. The room was very large and very modern. Large spacious bathroom with the latest conveniences. The kitchen facilities were modern and clean, just like the rest of the room. It really was like a home away from home. "Lovely stay at Ramside. First time we have been here and we will be back. Staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. Room was nice, only issue was that it smelt a bit damp when we walked in but opened patio doors and aired it and was ok afterwards. Lovely clean rooms. Beds not the most comfortable. Pillows were lumpy and a double/king size bed would be better than 2 beds put together, kept falling down the middle. Next time may look to upgrade to a premier room.
