"Overall very good 9/10. No do not disturb sign in room. Some damage to carpet in the room. Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Good sized bathroom, no bath. Floor gets wet very easily. No hair conditioner. Good tea tray with good selection of tea/coffee and Scottish shortbread. No robes. Good central location, in easy walking distance of attractions/tram. Room was very hot, despite opening window and adjusting temperature controls. Overall very clean. "

"This is a wonderful location right below the castle. Every morning we woke up to a gorgeous view! Peaceful street, one block from all of the Grassmarket shops and restaurants, and it was so easy to walk everywhere in town. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here and we would definitely stay there again!"
