"I booked this break for my wife's big birthday. We stayed for 2 nights on B&B basis. The hotel looked very festive when we arrived as all the Christmas trees had been put up and decorated. The reception area looked lovely. We had a quick, smooth check-in and were advised of opening times for dining and the spa facility. "The hotel is lovely. The rooms are very good and the heating system is simple to use.the staff are all lovely. Breakfast could be improved. The cooked breakfast is buffet style and the products they use seem great quality but as it’s all in warming trays, it’s actually cold or lukewarm at best. Thus hotel would be perfect if the breakfast was cooked for you rather than dive buffet style. "

"Hotel was clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed the use of the swimming pool. Our bedroom and bathroom were both very big. Only things that let it down slightly was the walls in the bedroom were very badly chipped on the corners. But otherwise very happy with our stay. "
