"Due to the power cuts we had to book in to a hotel instead of staying at the in laws. We needed one near the hospital to visit my mother in law. Was only a 30 minute walk to the hospital and was a really nice walk. Hotel was lovely, can’t fault it."

The room was fabulous and a great size… we did pay for a 2 bed suite and part of it was locked but the staff were great and able to go unlock the 2nd room for us (this was the one with the kitchenette and sofa / dining table). The hotel is lovely and well staffed. Room was very clean and does show some wear but no major issues. The check in at 4pm we found to be REALLY late in the day, especially when you’re only staying 1 night. They allowed us to use the...

"This is a understated, stylish hotel that is very relaxed and friendly. The rooms were a good size with tea and coffee making, iron and ironing board and safe. King sized bed was very comfortable. Very good location but parking is a multi-storey along the street. I’m not that fussy, but I did think breakfast was disappointing … tried all the (limited) options during my stay but most were overlooked or dry. There’s plenty of better options near by which I’ll choose for my next stay there."
