"What a lovely surprise, overnight stop on returning to the Midlands from watching rugby in Cardiff. Impressive refurbishment of old historic building to create cosy pub/restaurent with rooms. Atmosphere in evening was super, busy, satff very friendly and cask ale excellent. Food was 5 star both in the evening and at breakfast. (I had a very large flat iron sliced sirloin steak with garlic mushroom sauce grilled to perfection and wife a very agreeable cleanly fried fish + chips in evening...

"The accommodation is secure and clean and everything local the room was typical student accommodation but more than adequate for our stay mattress was to soft for my liking but overall 👍"
