"The Lodge at Uxmal is a special place just outside the entrance to the archeological site so ideal for staying at to see the sound and light show at night. The room was comfortable and clean with nice bedding and the place is set amongst trees so there are abundant birds and nature all around. Really lovely. It also has a very nice restaurant so is a great place to base exploring the Ruta Puuc from."

"Very good experience - nice city hotel with friendly team. You get a nice view of the cathedral from the outside bar. The hotel were very responsive to our restaurant recommendation requests and organised us a private driver for a tour who we loved and was very affordable. The room and bathroom was small but fine if you’re out and about and everything was clean and comfy. Great location!"

The one drawback is that the WiFi signal was weak, so that the TV usually did not work because it could not stream content. Also was unable to stream content on my personal devices. "
