"Visiting Bath for a rugby match meant the hotel was in a great location. Easy walking distance to the Rex. Easy walking distance to all the bars shops and restaurants. Lovely welcome from staff in reception, friendly bar staff - delicious food and food menu in the evening although some choices were not available at 8pm on a Saturday night despite there being only 3 tables filled. Great breakfast buffet. Only complaint for the weekend was reporting the toilet flush/ cistern not working properly...

"Our first stay in this Hotel and it didn’t disappoint. Friendly staff from the start, check in was a breeze. Security lock to the rooms so only guests have access as the bar and restaurant is open to the public. Room was great, had a balcony overlooking the main high street was a nice surprise. We had an evening meal there, good choice on the menu, again service was excellent. Following morning we had a breakfast, great selection, choice of cooked items as well as the cereal selections."

"Lovely property in a character building. I enjoyed the unique feeling of the hotel, and the great & helpful staff! Great area, and so close to the train station. Breakfast was also great, and felt more personal than other hotel breakfasts that I've had before. My only con is that the floor can be a bit creaky in the hallways, and you may hear someone walking by, but it didn't bother me much."

"We were able to leave our car and head into the city before check in. Check in was smooth and room was fine. The gentleman serving at the bar was exceptional. He was very welcoming and made conversation with each guest which is a plus for guest. Our room was very hot so slept with windows open and had no issues with road noise considering how close to main road the hotel is. The location is really good with a bus stop opposite so you don't need to walk up the steep hill after a day out...
