The swimming pool facilities were great, sauna, steam room etc. The breakfast for what it was, was great, lots of continental options and your choice of a cooked breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place and come again. Id love to write a longer review but there was no issues, everything was great."

"We had a fabulous stay at the Gainsborough. The whole experience from start to finish was perfect, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and the bed was super comfy. We used the spa 3 times during the stay and it has fantastic facilities - my only one point of improvement would be to fix some of the jets in the spa so they’re all working! We stayed during the half marathon weekend and the morning of the marathon they even had gels and protein bars in reception for the runners! Such a nice touch. Perfect weekend in Bath made even better by staying at such a gorgeous hotel! "
