"The hotel room is great, we had a room with a balcony, and it was lovely to sit out on an evening. The only down side was the AC doesn't work very well, we thought it was our room, or user error, but the following morning we heard others complaining at reception. If they fix the Ac we will definitely be back"

"The hotel was nice but the bed was slightly hard and small for 2 people. Staff were lovely, check in was really easy. Very central location, easy walking distance to all attractions in bath. "

"Fantastic hotel. From check in to departure. Great location near hippodrome and Becon Theatre and close to lots of bars and restaurants. Great accommodation and lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was great - very busy as it was a weekend but the staff were super effective and kept it all going smoothly. A great choice. "

"Perfect location in Bath, easy walking distance to the baths, historic sites and shopping. Hotel has great sized rooms and a very comfortable bed. It's not an historic hotel, but sometimes air conditioning, functional lobby and a great free breakfast can be very welcome. "

"We felt perplexed with the check in. The receptionist spoke very quietly. We needed to park our car in a car park. She gave us quick directions and then gave us a map with directions. I noted that several other people were having difficulty working out where they should go to park their cars. It was in the shopping centre car park. After parking and settling in we decided to go to the bar for a drink and dinner. The staff made us feel welcome and were excellent."

"Stayed as a family in a room to cater for 4. Hotel grounds amazing and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast offering was great and accommodated a food intolerance pls catered for a late night by permitting taking breakfast up to room. Only downside is the bedrooms are tired and the sofa bed, which was to sleep 2 children (teenagers) is fairly compact and impacts a lot in the room when opened. That said, would defo stay again. In fact, we’ve just rebooked. "

"Beautiful hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We thought car park was full but there was another car park and the receptionist told us there was a space. He also said we could leave the car there the next day to explore Bath. Room was comfortable and clean. It was facing a busy road so a little noisy with window open. But we still had a great stay and would recommend. "

Threshold between room and toilet was missing a door bar so hurt my foot a couple of times but once I knew about this, I knew to take a wider step to avoid this. Restaurant staff was very welcoming and breakfast was great -although a choice for vegetarian sausages would have been nice. Overall, would recommend the stay. "
