"We returned to hotel after being out for dinner to find the bathroom floor flooded. This was promptly dried up with floor ti be told to contact reception if it happens again. All looked fine only to find the same thing when going to the loo at 2am. This time we were relocated to anothet room, given complimentary breakfadt and late checkout at 2pm. "Hotel is ideally placed if you want to explore Winchester. Hotel restaurant Alfred’s serves amazing food albeit a bit expensive. Room is art deco in them. If you want to watch television though forget it. Digital channels cutting out continuously. Spa facilities are small. "
