"The room was very pleasant. It was very warm in the room even with the radiator off and window open. Could do with more power sockets and one by the bed but otherwise absolutely fine. Breakfast was good too. We had lunch in the restaurant which was pricey but very good quality. Drinks expensive but l think that’s par for the course in a hotel "

"We stayed at Tudor Park Country Club for 1 night to attend a wedding reception at The Orangery nearby. Room was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. Unfortunately had to leave it behind as could not get it in the car. HA HA "

"Staff were extremely well trained and friendly, we felt all the staff that we came across went out of their way to look after us. The facilities in the Health and Spa centre were impressive, we were given a nice tour. Parking was easy, plenty of spaces. A lovely hotel for a short stay in a great location would definitely recommend."

"I like its history and the Staff are excellent. I disliked: a) Wasting so much milk. I only needed a small spoonful. b) Morning shower.......the water was tepid at the most despite the fact that I reported it and was assured it would be better next day. c) Noisy, especially on Friday night. I could feel the bedroom floor vibrating. d) I found the dinner menu very limited after the first evening. "

"If you wish to visit Canterbury, the Lodge provides an incredibly convenient and quite comfortable place to stay. For those outside the main Lodge, the stairs may prove problematic for some, particularly those with extensive luggage or mobility issues. That notwithstanding, the access to the Cathedral grounds was lovely, and we would happily stay at the Lodge again."
