"Stayed for the night before flight. Could not fault room though wish I’d found the tea & coffee making facilities earlier. Ordered room service as daughter was exhausted after delayed train journey. Was expensive but absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the butter chicken curry. Would definitely use hotel again "

"I booked a single room at the Grand for a one-night stay. The room was inland facing and did not have a view but it was very modern and smart, with a lovely marbled shower room. The room was very quiet and I slept better than I had in ages. Breakfast was excellent - a wide variety of buffet items. All the staff were extremely helpful."

"Great location although parking was at a public parking garage next to the hotel luckily the hotel offer a discounted rate as the standing charge for 24 hours was £40.50 which is quite expensive. Hotel was clean and the staff very friendly our room which was an upgrade to partial sea view king size was excellent, great size, comfy bed and large walk in shower. Extras included bottled water which in the summer is a great extra. There was the usual tea/coffee available and the room had a fridge...

"Staff were friendly and accomodating. The hotel is clean, and has no unwanted smell, like other hotels. Perfect hotel as it was just walking distance to Gatwick airport. Overall, perfect place for a long layover."

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Harbour hotel. Front desk staff were really friendly/helpful and I was impressed by how CLEAN (i have high standards) and cosy the rooms were. The single room was smaller that i expected in person, the ensuite actually feels bigger than the bedroom but it was so nice and cosy and they added a good quality desk fan to help with help with the ventilation which was a nice touch. Also! full length mirror if you like those! The beds in particular have fantastic...

"The room was good but the bedding and mattresses for the single beds need replacing. We had a shower over the bath but to have a bath I had to fill it using the shower as the taps didn't work. Bath was too small. "

"This was a lovely hotel, very central to all the areas we wanted to visit. The rooms were quirkily designed and the bar area was stylish. The staff were so friendly and very helpful and the ability to park onsite was a bonus. Unfortunately I could hear the music from a nearby bar until the early hours on the Saturday we stayed, although my partner slept through. I would be happy to stay again in a different room."

"There is no elevator so the staff carried my bags to my room. The restaurant food was good but not great but the service was great. My room was very big with a claw foot tub and a rain shower. Room service was very good. excellent location, 12 step up a quiet lane across the street from teh beach."

"the Room was very nice and the staff very friendly including those at reception and the bar staff. However we did have an issue with getting into our room due to a lock malfunction when we arrived. Although we did eventually get moved to a new room it did take about 40 minutes from our arrival for them to move us which was a bit of an inconvenience. Additionally the tv in the room could definitely do with updating! Other than those minor inconveniences the stay was nice and we couldn’t fault it "
