"Had a good stay here. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. I didn’t use the spa facilities but I was given a tour and they looked fantastic. A shame I didn’t have enough time to partake. Breakfast was ok. I found the room very warm and needed to open the window during -15c to cool down a bit. The radiators didn’t seem to be adjustable."

"Excellent customer service!! Everyone at the hotel are super helpful and supportive. My mom stayed at the hotel for 8 nights, she needed assistance with ordering transportation, bringing her breakfast to the table, opening doors. She has a broken leg and is forced to use a walker. Every person at the hotel helped her with a smile. Beautiful people! Thank you! I would also like to mention the ease of booking and paying for the hotel. A lot of hotels in the area would not accept remote payments...

"The Plaza Hotel is a decent place to stay in Almaty. The rooms are clean, well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast is good but not amazing but as it’s a buffet I’m sure there’s plenty there to satisfy everyone. It’s not the most central hotel but the area around is safe and the river makes orientating yourself in the city quite easy.
