"The room was very clean and quiet, when the balcony door was closed it was very quiet at night. The staff and guests could be loud in the morning but you get that with echo-y hallways lol. I loved sitting on our balcony, we had a big palm tree infront of half it so private but with a great view of the Marina. Easy walking to all shopping, nightlife, restaurants... vendors lol (can't escape them lol). Also a quick walk to the main beach areas that you can actually swim in lined with restaurants....

"The resort is clean and well maintained. The food was consistently very good, if not excellent. We ate all the major restaurants that offered good variety. The barefoot grill which is the daytime beach/poolside eatery does a great job as well. Shoutout to Aldo who is fantastic. The people and service are great. "Hacienda Del Mar has been a go-to for our family for years. I know parts of the complex are undergoing renovation… but the older rooms are for showing their age. The rest of the complex is great, and the staff is great. Will still go back, will just be sure to stay in a remodeled part of the resort."
