"DeVere Wokefield exceeded our expectations considerably. We upgraded to a room in the Mansion House and the view from the window was beautiful. Even though there were wedding parties both nights we were there, we would not have known it had we not met people during breakfast and photo shoots. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The Mansion House could not have been a more lovely surprise. Inexpensive taxi ride to Reading to see the Silchester Eagle and the UK copy of the Bayeaux...

Generally tidy, initial walk through corridors looked a bit like whole hotel was in need of some TLC room was better. Generally quiet, although noise from road on occasion but also noisy guests leaving around midnight disturbed us. "

"Staff and check in very good. Was in a superior room which gives space around the bed but that is all it means by superior over a standard room. Was unfortunately a few long dark hairs on walls of shower so it hadnt been cleaned thoroughly."
