"Overall a very clean and prime located property. Stylish decor and friendly staff. Modest breakfast. Only thing I didn’t like is that my room windows were opening towards an apartment building. There was only a darkening curtain. Which means either be visible to everyone or no view at all."

"The hotel is in an excellent location for travel in and out of Basel Bahnhof, and walking around central Basel. Service and the buffet breakfast are both very good. I had a cosy single room with thick window glazing to block most noise from the street below. I did not experience internal noise from other guests and slept well. The choice of eating options at the hotel and in it’s immediate vicinity is limited but there are great cafes and restaurants a short tram ride or a 10 minute away."

"Great location, very close to central station and tram stops. Really convenient for exploring the city and zoo, as well as further afield. The hotel is not staffed 24/7 but the adjacent hotel (which is part of the same group) is, and they can assist with check in/out, bookings and other queries. Everyone was really friendly. Not all of the hotel is accessible by lift so if this is needed, let the hotel know when booking. We would stay here again. "

"A nice, quaint hotel outside of Basel. We found a parking spot fairly easily. We choose to take a bus into Basel, which was easy and affordable. Just a short walk to the stop. Everyone was very nice and helpful. They worked hard to keep the guests happy. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant was excellent. This is not a business hotel but a nice getaway. "I like these apartments, they are an easy walk from the station. They are simple but smartly done. The sound proofing on the windows is excellent and if you are in a room at the front of the building you need it. I would describe the staff as efficient but not overly friendly and it was disappointing there were no doorman to assist with bags etc. The restaurant was really good and here our server really was super friendly and our dinner was most enjoyable.
