"Amazing, family-run place. We had a beautiful view of the mountain and they made us a delicious breakfast every morning. The staff were so friendly and accomodating. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. There is a very steep hill which can be hard if you are bringing yo your own luggage but worth it for the views."

"We had an excellent stay in that property (3nights March 2025) It located on the hill so the views from the balcony are spectacular. Still just a few steps from the center of town. Very good breakfast with lots of options. Exceptional stuff, especially the manager who was very informative, helpful and kind. The only down was the bathroom which I'd say needed some renovations and the noise coming from the construction going on at the front of the hotel but I understand at some point they have to do it. I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"The view from our room was spectacular of the waterfall. Sat out on balcony each morning and evening enjoying the view. The Hillcrest is walking distance to town but is on a very steep hill They have Tuk Tuk available for rides into town. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was provided. "
