"We did not stay here! They would not check us in even though I showed them we had paid on Expedia. They wanted cash from us. They said Expedia doesn’t pay them and they wanted us to pay again. We didn’t because the place looked dirty and unfinished. We left. Now I’m trying to get my money back from Expedia. i got through on chat, Bupindher said someone from Expedia service would email me but they have not."

"Absolutely stunning property and surroundings! House and rooms are nice and clean but public spaces felt small for the 7 rooms (14 people). It is nice if you are happy to socialize and share space. Staff was amazing and accommodating - food was good, not amazing - a little hit or miss. We didn’t have the full board / all inclusive like others and I felt like the prices were high for Sri Lanka. "What a dream this place is. Fantastic stay that felt like we were welcomed into a home of warm friends. Food was perfect, stay was perfect, view and massages perfect as well. perfect place for some rest and rejuvenation. "Ella's Nature Nest is a beautiful spot to spend a few days in a peaceful setting. Close to town, but quiet, the owners are welcoming and hospitable and breakfast is included (not mentioned when booking). Wonderful location to wake up to with stunning views and birdsong. Highly highly recommended."

"We had a wonderful time in this beautiful and peaceful property. The spacious rooms have a fantastic view and we loved the restaurant offering yummy and fresh food - loved the freshly cut fruit at the breakfast 💚 I would say the biggest highlight are the experiences offered by the hotel with their experienced and amazing naturalist guide Sudheerah who brought us around in a beautiful walk and shared many interesting insights about the the nature and the wildlife here. We highly recommend to take these tours if you come here as it makes a big difference vs going where everyone else goes!! The staff is very very nice and welcoming and we are really grateful for the beautiful hospitality "

Mat look good but...

"The property must've looked stunning when built, but years of neglect show noticeably. Staff is very friendly but I think they're not very expert in running an accommodation as a business, so it was a lot of hit and miss. The owner must be obsessed with Versace, as everything has been marked with a fake Medusa logo, which more than classy looks tacky (but that's personal taste). The property is very far from everything and only accessible through a narrow scary road, so once you're in you're unlikely to be wanting to leave again. WiFi is way too weak to even check Facebook and only fee rooms have Netflix. Food is lovely but dinner are way overpriced. Location is very nice and secluded. Katerina who is there for a few weeks more is amazing! All in all, I think it is overpriced for what it is. Or the property should make that but if an effort to turn the place around."
