"Best value for money hotel ive stayed in for long time. Room was clean and comfortable. The onsuite shower could do with being hotter but thats being picky. The gem is the restaurant. Busy on both evenings but staff were on the ball, attentive with food being delivered roasting hot. Both nights I had Chicken and Leek pie. Absolutely superb hence why i had it twice! A mention in dispatches for chips, best chips Ive had ever, fact. Rest of the menu looks good but the Roasts are legendary. Never...

"Perfect location and we loved the spacious rooms around the restaurant and bar as we had our dog with us. The staff in the evening were amazing when we were having ‘one last drink’ in the lounge. They helped others with eating places still open and even rang them to expect orders. Breakfast is top quality and very well cooked. This stay, our room needed some TLC.
