"The only reason I wouldn’t stay here again Parking. They have no parking for guest until after 9 pm and it cost you more than trying to park on the street. We had to constant run and feed a meter until we learned how to do it from our phone. Our last night there we had to park 1.7 miles away it was the only thing available .So at 3am we were dragging our luggage through the city so we could drive to the airport. "We were only here for one day before flying out. It's located in the heart of the city, and close to the big church, harbour and a multitude of shops and restaurants. The downside to the location, is that parking is not included. Street parking right outside the hotel is a P1 zone, so only valid for 3h in a 24hour period. We just parked around the corner. The walls are a little thin OR the doors are heavy, we could hear them slamming shut when other people were entering/leaving their rooms....

"Staff was wonderful! Only complaint is that the smoke alarm went off in the hotel due to a toaster! Got up at 7AM because someone in the dining room wanted crispy toast. So you're definitely safe here since their smoke alarms work really well."

"The Skuggi Hotel is ideally located in Reykjavik, with the Cathedral, City Centree and the Seafront being within walking distance. The Hotel itself was clean & smart, the bed was very comfy, and plenty of choice for breakfast. I would definetly stay at this Hotel again in the future. "
