"Lovely entrance into hotel giving you a feeling of grandeur, the rooms are large and spacious and food is of a good standard. Sadly the view from the room we occupied left alot to be desired, go for a castle view if you can."

"The heating was not on in the hotel. As it was cold on the evening the receptionist supplied us with a convecter heater. Top marks for a very helpful receptionist. The towels were rather thin and hard. I would have expected thick, fluffy towels. The breakfast was very good with a nice menue.. However, I would prefer to help myself instead of waitress service. This may have been due to not many people staying there."
