"First trip to Nairobi and had a good experience even though we arrived late. All staff at Baraka Tower Hotel were friendly and welcoming. A late checkout was accommodated even if we asked at the last minute. Area could be noisy outside, please check with the staff if you prefer quiet room. I highly recommend "

"I stayed at the Luke Hotel and Cravers, the entire month of December. I enjoyed the Holidays so much; I was sad to leave and return to the U.S. Christmas was special. with decorations, lights, trees everywhere and American Holiday music playing. Christmas Day: I was greeted with a gift from the staff, the pool, sitting area and Cravers was filled to capacity with children playing and of course Santa Claus was there with candy for us kids. The long established, Kikuyu culture, and charming and hospitable customs, welcomes the World. "

"It was too expensive for what was provided. I made the huge mistake of booking through Expedia. I originally did so to get my visa not knowing it was non refundable. When I realized I was paying twice what I should have I tried to cancel and the hotel refused to cancel without penalty. I would not return to this property nor use Expedia again to get a hotel booking. I felt cheated and it impacted my entire experience. Non refundable is a terrible policy. My family runs a bnb in the US and we allow people to cancel if something comes up and they can’t make it. I felt cheated having overplayed for a property where the internet did not work well and it colored my entire experience. "

"I was very disappointed with Paleo hotel, The shower water in the wet room did not drain away, so was always wet and slippery. The window rattled in the wind. I stayed for 2 nights, paid my bill and left really I should have refused to pay for the 2 nights as I left there very sick probably caused because of the problems with the the drainage. The food was not up to much either I wished I had gone else where "
