The restaurant is very good and we enjoyed dining here for the 2 nights of our stay. Fortunately, we were able to get a ground floor room which made things easier for my husband. The room warm but a little datedA good hotel in a lovely position. We would definitely dtsy again. Its much better than a chain hotel "

Our room was excellent, extremely warm and comfy, and with amazing views. Aa very easy walk into town for mooching round the shops and pubs etc, plus of course the castle ruins.
