"The stay here was amazing. I received a lovely welcome from the new owners Sian and Eifion. The room was beautiful with a view of the fields and river Wye. There was a complimentary tea and coffee tray. With a variety of different coffees, herbal tea and the tea bags in a jar. Not the mandatory two or three and one or two milks. "I was in Knighton for a wedding and had a great stay at The Red Lion. The owners were very welcoming and nice to chat to, the room was simple but nice and clean, the hotel is in a great location and breakfast was great. I wish I had stayed longer after seeing how lovely the surrounding area is!"

"I arrived later than should for check in due to delays but was still able to book in. The room was very clean with a lovely big comfortable double bed. There was tea and coffee in the rooms plus a television which was an added bonus. The shower room was extremely clean and the shower was lovely and hot. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. "

"My 18 yr old son, 7 yr old dog & I went for 2 nights to celebrate my 60th birthday. The barn is very comfortable & cosy. Instructions to get there was spot on. It was very clean except for a couple of cobwebs with spiders in the corner of the main bedroom & lounge but this didn't bother me. Throws & towels provided for dogs, loved sitting outside with a cuppa in the mornings watching the sun come up. This accommodation was ideal for going out walking in the day & chilling in the evenings. "

"Lovely location, very spacious property with amazing spaces. Kitchen spacious and well equipped. Beds comfortable. bathrooms good. Great bonus as it wasn’t exactly “flaming June” was the snooker table, especially for the youngsters , there were many challenging matches! Outside facilities were great but because of the weather not uses apart from table tennis and basketball net. Plenty to see and do only a short drive away."
