"Beautiful views and lovely hotel with individual or joint rooms directly on the beach. Good food and excellent service. Overall quiet although there was a little noise from traffic. Unfortunately, the beaches are littered with broken coral and lots of boats are moored to the beach (meaning ropes to step over while walking). You can snorkel in front and see a few little fish but there is strong current and unless you swim out to the reef edge (which I did not), the corals are mostly dead."

"I had a fantastic stay at Swahita in Ubud. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful—exactly what I needed to rest and adjust to the time change after a long journey. The room was comfortable, the pool area was beautiful and relaxing, and the breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious. This was the perfect place to begin my time in Bali. I’d definitely stay here again."

"This was the first place l stayed at during my first visit to Bali. Loved the quiet and peaceful surroundings, with stunning views of the rice fields. Great feeling to wake up to the sounds of the birds chirping. The villa itself was spacious, with beautiful furnishings. Staff were gracious and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back on my next visit."

"Didn't get off to a great start in a room at bottom of property by the river, amazing outlook/space but it was a little damp. I spoke to reception & was moved to a beautiful room, second storey near the pool, so was happy there, happythere"

"It was very clean, the room worked. The property was very nice. There is a pool. It was very close to our diving shop. But I had to ask for a hand towel every day, to dry my hands after washing them. I didn't want to use our bath towels. "

"Good 3xstar beach hotel, staff attentive and pleasant. Great location. Hotel is dated, so expected it to be a little run down, ie plumbing, etc. as per similar hotels in the area. Would benefit from bathroom upgrades but then, of course, the prices would rise. The worst thing I found was that the pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Overall it was a very good experience and I would be happy to stay here again."

"It has a great view of the ocean and the place is well maintained for a secluded location at the the top of the hills. Would definitely need a taxi or a ride to get there as the road were quite rough. "
