"Our stay far exceeded expectations wrt service (butlers, restaurant and spa staff), food quality, restaurant and overall ambiance. We loved our 5 night stay in a Butler Valley Pool Villa, which was very relaxing. The afternoon rain storms were fantastic! "I’ll absolutely be back at Mason elephant lodge. It was the kindest service we’ve ever had. The food is amazing, the spa is amazing, and the elephants are so so happy! If you’re worried, google elephant body language. They are reproducing as well, which is a huge sign they are healthy and happy. Their keepers have been with their elephant for decades. It’s an amazing place. I can’t wait to come back. Special shout out to Oka! He is a doll. "

"We had the private villa with the private pool . It was treed all around ,like an oasis. It was a place you could just stay in the room and be happy . (we had the darma villa) . The room came with breakfast. We booked transport online from the airport before we arrived ($27 for an hour and half drive) . We also booked a tour online (which we liked ,it had a guide) , but a taxi to the monkey forest is cheap ( i was told $8 return) it's a great place to stay "

"First of all embracing the amazing jungle view from the river front villa is amazing, also the room is huge and the breakfast is among the best in Bali island. "Great resort for those with kids. Kids club and pools are staffed by friendly people who genuinely love interacting with the kids. Only downside is the distance from the beach - although only a 10-15min walk by adults, it’s challenging to walk with small kids on the busy roads which are shared by cars, scooters, motorcycles and pedestrians. "This is an excellent hotel. It is quiet and extremely safe. The grounds are clean and staff are respectful. My only issue is that because the air conditioner is old in a humid country, there is a smell. We just used our fans and no a Id recommend this location"

"I had a great experience at the hotel. They have lot of dining options and a shuttle available to go to Ubud City. On my last day I had a negative experience with breakfast. I had explained about the egg allergy. They brought meal with egg. They took it back and removed the egg from my plate. I kindly explained that they need to remove the areas that there were bits of egg. They took it back and did the same thing again. I gave up and ate a bit of my breakfast and lost my interest in eating. This would be my biggest concern that they would need to make a new meal if my allergy was serious. Overall my stay was great. "

"This place is unbelievably beautiful! I spent seven days in their suite pool villa with my husband. We added the Romantic Hideaway package to our stay which included a bunch of awesome things like the pick up from the airport, a beautiful decorated basket with flowers and chocolates upon arrival, refreshing cocktails , floating breakfast, romantic dinner, one hour of Balinese massage, tickets for the kecak dance performance and the admission to the monkey forest. This package is a must add on! The staff was amazing! Very pleasant and always ready to help. The restaurant had delicious food and live music. Our room was absolutely gorgeous. We had an extraordinary experience at this place! Everything was excellent! I can not wait to go back!"

Cheeky Monkeys and Awesome Pool!

"We absolutely loved our time at the Anumana Ubud...only steps away from the cheeky Monkeys! Such a well kept and beautifully styled hotel. Stayed in a room with plunge pool which added a touch of luxe. The bathtub in the room would fit 4 easily! Just huge!! The Main pool was well kept and restaurant served amazing meals. The breakfast was really good also with a decent a-la-carte variety to choose from. The monkeys climbing about doing their thing around the front of property is a bonus. Would I stay at Anumana again when in Ubud... ABSOLUTELY!! Thank you to the wonderful staff that made every moment of our stay comfortable and welcoming."
