"This was the first place l stayed at during my first visit to Bali. Loved the quiet and peaceful surroundings, with stunning views of the rice fields. Great feeling to wake up to the sounds of the birds chirping. The villa itself was spacious, with beautiful furnishings. Staff were gracious and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back on my next visit."

"It was very clean, the room worked. The property was very nice. There is a pool. It was very close to our diving shop. But I had to ask for a hand towel every day, to dry my hands after washing them. I didn't want to use our bath towels. "

"We were blown away at how nice this was for how little we spent. Private room and bathroom. Comfy bed. Hot water. Large and delicious breakfast included! Lovely garden and pool! The staff was very nice and the other guests were open to making friends as well. Many of the guests had stayed here before in the past and keep coming back. Highly recommend! "

"Honestly, it's a beautiful property, and if you're looking to enjoy some solitude or spend quality time with your partner, this is definitely the place for you. Since it’s situated in the heart of nature, we encountered frogs and other insects, but they had mentioned this before booking, so I can't fault them for it. "Staff are very nice. If you want a quiet place in the middle of city Centre , this is the place . It’s near restaurants, shopping centers , markets . The property itself is quite vintage, the building exterior was amazing . Karma , who picked us up in the airport was very nice and he drove us around Bali, highly recommended. "

"Lovely, peaceful property. Amazing views of the beach from the pool. A lot of drain flies and ants in the bathroom but some insects are expected in the lovely open air bathroom! Only negative is that the duvet is a size single on a double bed. "

"We stayed 3 nights. Road work caused 20-30 mins extra time to go around to get to the property. Staffs were great. Room was ok, the single mattresses were not good quality. shower water was pretty little. Not enough lightning in the room. The property was beautiful."

" Great location between the monkey forest and the Palace. Walking distance to restaurants, trip operators, and next door to great bar with a lovely garden and live music. But very quiet at the hotel which was perfect. The hosts are so nice and the breakfast was great."

"I’ve stayed at the Alaya twice and both times have exceeded my expectations. This time for 1 week and it was just perfect. The staff is amazing. The spa is incredible, pools and gym are all a 10. I would definitely stay here again. Location is close to the center and walkable to a lot IF the heat wasn’t so intense but it’s Bali and it is, so we still needed to use taxis to get to some of the “spots” but not a big deal. Lots of restaurants and shops near. Yoga Barn is literally next door if that’s your vibe! "

"A priority beyond excellent. The day were amazing, couldn’t do enough for you. Food was fabulous, recommend the club lounge. We had a lovely room which was cleaned to the height of perfection. Seriously cannot recommend this hotel enough. The gardens are absolutely fabulous. A minor thing, there was no lifeguard on duty, but it was the end of the low season.. overall - fabulous!!"
