The staff was warm and welcoming and the amenities in the lobby (coffee, spa water, apples, homemade cookies) were fantastic. The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. I'll definitely staff here again!"

"The hotel is in a great location, 2 blocks from Union Square and close to public transport as well as tourist bus tour stops. The room was good, well-equipped and clean. Breakfast was good and very useful before a day sightseeing. It is not like a modern chain hotel but that’s part of the charm. It is like a small, independent hotel but right in the heart of the city. We loved it."

"The hotel was pleasant. Our rooms were joined. If you’re a family that needs joined rooms this is not the place to be. The joined rooms only have 1 king bed, it will only work if you have babies or small toddlers. The 1 room we had was a little worn down. The rug needs replacing & all the doors need to be replaced or at least oiled. They all squeak! Also our a/c did not work.
