"Clean, modern room and the hotel was really quiet at night. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was the shower gel was running very low and not filled up and only two hangers in the wardrobe which was not enough for our five night stay. Location was ok, not many eating places next to the hotel but only a short walk to the train station where there were great transport links and places to eat. Around 15 minutes to walk to the centre of Basel...

"We spent New Year’s in Basel and was hoping for something a little more quaint, but the hotel was clean, quiet, and convenient to a variety of restaurants and local transportation. We are INCREDIBLY grateful to the gentleman who checked us in as he let us know that the garage we had originally parked our rental car would be locked through the New Year’s holiday which would have greatly impacted our plans the next day! "Been on the road for 3 weeks and this was the last night. I can safely say this was the worst by a long way. Corridors smell,!uncomfortable and cold room. Very poor bathroom, very basic breakfast, weak coffee. Evening staff fine, morning miserable. Think walls and noisy doors. Just absolute rubbish. Will not be returning!"
