"Very clean hotel and room. All good - breakfast mostly very good. Only thing that surprised us was the £1 service charge for ordering drinks at the bar - and not a well stocked bar at that!"

"All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Parts of the hotel looked a little tired, mainly the carpets but it wouldn't stop us from staying there again. Possible the only negative would be the lack of on site parking. However, there is alternative parking elsewhere. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Really enjoyed our stay ..easy to find..off road private parking..the hotel is very welcoming nicely decorated and clean...the bar is a good size and well stocked..the room was large with plenty of storage and room to sit and read or study..the bathroom had a bath with shower and toilet.. plenty of hot water..the bed was very comfy and sheets were fresh and clean..The breakfast was amazing with everything you could want and plenty of it.Only 10 mins walk into town along the canal which runs...

"Had a lovely night's sleep, comfortable and modern room with everything needed. Modern bathroom with large shower cubicle. Quiet, calm and relaxed. Only let down was the breakfast. Got there just after 9am and there were no sausages, no beans , no eggs and no hash browns. Asked staff who then said no sausages left for that day and had to stand and wait on other items. Toast then cold and items came out half cooked. Bit stressful and ruined what was a nice stay. "
