"We chose this hotel as we wanted a quiet night away not too far from home and away from the busy tourist areas and it didn’t disappoint. "Friendly hotel with good location to explore Ambleside. Dog friendly and even though dogs are not allowed in the restaurant they set up a table in the lounge for you so your dog can accompany you and provide table service. Catered to my needs being gluten free and requiring soya milk and even made my decaffeinated coffee just how I liked it. Will definitely stay again 😄 xx"

We were so disappointed to discover on the last day that there was another side to the breakfast menu which we hadn't turned over!
