"A wonderful stay at this charming guest house. Our hosts Rich and Ada were very welcoming and gave us recommendations on places to eat and walks to enjoy in the local area. We had a tastefully decorated small double room which was spotless and although compact very comfortable with everything we needed including a mini fridge. Breakfasts were delicious, fantastic choices, beautifuly presented and fresh local ingredients. Lovely little garden at the back. Very easy walk to both Windermere proper...

"Very friendly hotel located just outside of the main town centre. Parking was easy and reasonably priced, and the welcome by the host was excellent. The whole hotel was very clean, comfortable bed, nice shower bathroom, and a good selection for breakfast. Would definitely stay again."

"The stay was over priced. £100 for B&B out of season in a very small (9' x 10'6") room with bathroom only slightly larger than the bathroom on an aircraft. There was no room for a chair in the room. A single bed would have been more appropriate for this room. The decor of the room was however very good. The stay did not compare well with my stay at a pub the nights before and after which was priced at £55 for B&B with an appreciable larger and well appointed room, and an equally good breakfast,...
