"The photo they offer is of the bulding opposite and the hotel itsefl as much younger! It is also apparant that it has had some quite recent refurbishment and our room was almost new. It was quiet and comfortable and fully what I expected. My only concern is that the hotel frontage is onto a pedestrianised road and I wonder if I will get a ticket (in due course) for driving there...on a Sunday? I suggest the hotel information SHOULD explain this better and direct guests arriving by car to use the...

"Very welcoming staff so that was a great first impression. Very well presented accommodation. Great shower. Plenty of beverages and having a sofa too in the evening was a bonus. Enjoyed some good food in the pub along with a very drinkable bottle of red. Great atmosphere. Bed was very comfortable. It is only self serve continental breakfast of cereal, yoghurt and toast. But price we paid was ok for that. Bad points - road was noisy but ear plugs sorted that out. Also need an eye...
