"Central location"

"This is such a nice budget hotel with a good view from the top. Breakfast is included, and the typical Costa Rica breakfast is an option. You’ll notice wear and tear from the place being an older building, but nearly everything functioned fine. My only complaint is that the electrical outlets didn’t work in my room except for the one with the fridge. My friend’s outlets did. I had a phone-charging battery pack, so it didn’t matter to me. I imagine they’d be accommodating if that were to matter...

"The place is clean, well maintained and the personnel is very kind and helpful at the front desk. In the restaurant area English level is very limited but the service is still good. I have a few suggestions that may help the hotel, some I have already verbally made to Lucy, the manager: 1) the rooms need an ironing board, 2) Bathroom need skin lotion, 3) warn customers that rooms have no refrigerator but can be obtained if requested 4) place in the rooms a list of useful numbers and guided...

" Santo Tomas Hotel was a very nice stay for my family. The hotel is in downtown and is nicely gated. The desk is well manned and the gate opened almost immediately upon our arrival, even after we went out and came back very late. Comfortable beds and nice hot showers. We had our own toiletries but good to mention there was only small bar soap in the bathroom. There is a fridge and microwave in a common area. No ac but the room had a great air flow including ceiling fan. Breakfast was amazing and...
