The place is fine, and the staff very helpful, but the place if suffering from neglect and appears to be old-fashioned. However for the price I was charged, it was OK."

"Staff lovely very friendly, clean hotel and room. Unfortunately matress was awful very hard and pillows very hard so didnt sleep very well. Breakfast was really good and fresh made great choice."

"Great hotel in Lichfield. We did parkrun last Saturday and the breakfast staff were very helpful and made a bacon sandwich as we would miss breakfast times. Room 74 thank you. All staff friendly and polite. Comfortable room. "

"What an excellent place i will be returning and staying in these quaint but rustic and beautiful hotel. The rooms were bigger than an average size, the bar and restaurant was wonderful sitting next to a slow burning fire just like the good old days as a child. Food was exceptional the staff were second to none and couldn’t do enouh for you. Breakfasts were plentyful and hot."
