The pictures on Hotels.com look good but probably taken about 10 years ago when the place was last cleaned . The boys were given another room but it was just as bad so they checked out without staying there at all. "

"All the rooms are on the ground floor, separate from the main building. The one we stayed in was a good size, clean and comfortable. We were here for 3 nights, however you could easily stay much longer as there was plenty of drawer space and a decent sized wardrobe. "Good stay and very close to centre. However there's no reception/ service in the morning if you need something at that time because there's no one in the building manning the property."

"Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers.
