"Checked in mid evening and was cold outside. Was informed at check in that the team had been to my room and closed the curtains and put the heating on so it was not cold. Wow now that’s some check in service "

"Though location is on Services but definitely more than a a Services hotel and more than 2 state as rated. Spacious n clean room and Bathroom with air on / central heating. Lockbox didn’t work for self check but was checked in with standard key card quote promptly. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Used Highfield many times. Always reliable with super staff. Room was big and warm with giant comfy bed. Just be aware that road noise from the A690 is constant unless you’re in the odd-numbered rooms, as they are at the back of the hotel and are super quiet. "

"We had a spacious room perfect for our teenage children. We had one meal which was tasty and served quickly. Rather expensive restaurant. Our second night was blighted by another guests abusive behaviour towards his partner. Maybe staff should say no to customers when they have clearly had too much alcohol. "
