"This hotel has been built with great care & attention. The cabin structures are solid, beautifully enclosed and finished and still somehow they fit in with the environment. The staff were excellent and wow, the chef's vegan meals were superb. The location is quite deep off the main highway which is definitely a positive, as the location is silent apart from the sounds of nature and soft music in the dining area."

"The cabin was well-equipped, even luxurious, with a great view. Esmeralda, our cook and staff person, couldn't have been more helpful and kind. The grounds are peaceful with great bird watching. We kayaked every day and did yoga on the screened in porch. I was so happy we decided to pass by here! It was restorative and relaxing, with great affordable meals. Thank you!"

"Beware! The only property access is a STEEP 200 metre cowpath over tree roots would be dangerous in rain. There were no clear signs Had to drive on that to go back to Bacalar, 25 km. away. Or room was in a building across from the gated facilities on the beach. We were not allowed to use the beach chairs, kayaks etc. Nor was there any breakfast or coffee available for purchase. "Azul Nomeolvides is a small place, only six rooms, quite removed from the world. The rooms are spacious and done rather nicely, if a bit sparse. They're quite open to the world, especially the bathrooms, which are done wonderfully in different stone patterns and feature rainforest-like showers and a wonderful array of lotions such as sunscreen and aloe that you should absolutely try.
