"Excellent views, food options are lacking as only one basic buffet for all meals and very limited choices. It could be so much more with the fantastic views. Our unit was a good size but was located far away from main pool and restaurant which is not what I expected, it was infested with ants and cockroaches. We had ants in our king bed!!! Service was great when we told them and came out right away to spray unit but never should have happened in first place. "

"This hotel has a lovely little oasis of a pool complete with friendly little peacocks and a park with a little lookout point in the back. It's aging but that keeps the price down. AC worked great and the beds were good. If you're going out downtown a room at the front is fine but if you need some quiet, ask for a room at the back of the hotel as the nearby night clubs are loud. This is an issue in all cities in CR as there are no noise laws and the club's are open air. "

MANY, MANY great restaurants within 100yds of the hotel and easy walk, even at night. Flamingo and Tamarindo beach are very short drive, but you have a great beach and all amenities at this hotel. Good hotel to end a trip when you are leaving from LIR which is 1 hr drive away. This was our 2nd visit in 10 years and we would come again. Cons: A bit pricey, but not...
