"The room was clean and comfortable, it had all the items we needed. The location was great to explore various beaches around the area (we visited 8 or 9 but there are over 40!). Food was really good and service was incredible. Don Manuel and his family are great hosts."

"Nice place, a bit older, but clean. close to ocean, but a bit of a walk to get there. Big climb to get to rooms, ok if you are not physically hampered. Close to some decent dining if you have a car. Food at property was average. Great value for dollars. Rooms very small and bank of 5 rooms share a small patio space. Nice common space below at front office. Many staff were volunteers from other countries learning to Kite Surf, they were all very friendly."

"This was a wonderful property, very clean and modern. The best part was the staff: Javier is the most helpful and beautiful soul I have ever met (reception), Jesus and Camila at the reception are very kind and helpful. Rodrigo at the aquatic is awesome and took great care of us. He arranged a boat for us to go island hoping which was the most incredible experience (Daniel and Pablo were the guides on the boat and were incredible). The whole experience at this hotel is a paradise dream. "

"If you want to feel like you are actually in Costa Rica, but have modern accommodations, this is the place. Our studio room with kitchen was a little dated but comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The best part was the surrounding gardens where we were visited by monkeys and birds of all types. The pool area was small but very nice. "Beautiful grounds and accommodations. You can walk to the pool or the thermal pools or ask for a ride. Food is inconsistent with breakfast good, lunch excellent and dinner a disappointment. You are at least an hour on a bumpy dirt road from anything so it is not like you can eat elsewhere. Service is great except for breakfast where they are understaffed.
