"I read so many reviews (2000 ) after booking this property. I got so worried bc people were either it’s great or totally trashing it. Let me tell u, this is the most beautiful place we have been to, and we’ve been to other countries. The grounds are immaculate, the wildlife and greenery are beautiful, and the resort itself is beautiful! I have no idea what other people are complaining about. Our room was huge, very comfy bed, no trouble with hot water or towels as other people have said. Maid service came everyday as well as the guy who restocked our fridge daily. And if we asked for extra anything, it was given happily. One nite we even asked for more coffee packets as we were leaving the dinner buffet, and the coffee was already in our room by the time we walked back- about 5 minutes! The beach is awesome, very secluded and private but still plenty to do if u want adventure. The massage ladies on the beach- Maria & Evelyn, are 5 star masseurs! Not taking away from the resort spa, we didn’t use, but I’m sure these ladies are just as good and much cheaper. Larry the tour guy is great and very informative, however we used an outside source for a deep sea fishing trip. The pools are clean and we never had trouble getting a chair or pool towel. The bartenders are great-shoutout to Fernando! The best advice I can give is bring plenty of $1 bills. Tipping goes a long way!!! Shuttles run constantly but we actually preferred walking, the grounds are worth exploring."

"The staff here are amazing… pleasant friendly and easy to work with. We had to book here to evacuate from La Cruz during TS Sarah. There was much uncertainty when we could actually depart due to the airport closures. The hotel easily accommodated us for our extended stay. "

"Should be able to reserve ANY restaurant on the day of your Check-in. Most are booked but was able to reserved some restaurants But not by choice. Luckily, the 2 we reserved were good. "

"This was a great QUIET little resort. We stayed 14 days and enjoyed or time at CC. Positives: the staff was awesome from the Kitchen staff to the housekeepers and maintenance staff. Everyone worked to ensure our experience was positive. Too many shining stars to list. Food was always tasty and lots. Place was well maintained. Negatives: There is no transportation provided and it was a $65usd taxi ride into town and back. The beds are rock hard. If you have a bad back or hip issues this may be a problem. We stayed during tropical storm and the work this resort did to ensure or safety and well being was the number 1 priority. All staff including the Management deserve a huge thank you. We will be back for sure!"
