"We have just returned from a 3 day stay in this lovely Riad. We booked our airport taxi through the hotel and the host met us from the drop off point in the Medina to walk to the Riad. "Centrally located in the middle of the medina, walking distance to palace, main square, many nice restaurants. Breakfast basic juice, bread, tea, coffee and croissant every day, but fresh and nice. Friendly staff and always available. No toiletries provided so bring your own. Only cost 100 dirham to get to airport on return. Paid 300 on way there, so hope this helps you know what to pay for taxis. "

But if you like sleeping in a four-poster bed straight out of Arabian Nights, you’d love Gramtahouse as much as I did. Kitchen wasn't too clean, but the bedroom and bathroom were spotless. "Nice historic property. Good value for money. Rooms bit dated and not sound proof. Great breakfast but cold - fortunately had a toaster / microwave to heat - technically a buffet but has restrictions - the guy adjacent to me was pretty upset when he was refused a second one egg omellette. Which I found was a bit picky on the part of the hotel particularly when they offer a buffet. The omellete was set up and even offered later in the breakfast period with some missing it. "

Two conflicting addresses which sent us on a wild goose chase until eventually a kind shop owner called the number for us and had someone from the hotel come and meet us. "This is a lovely riad. Its location is perfect for walking to all the main sights in the medina. All the staff are welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. My room was well presented, quiet, and had everything I needed. It was cleaned to a good standard daily.
