"This resort delivered in everything I expected. It has the outdoor onsen view, excellent room, and the delicious meals. I really loved the breakfast, because I felt all of the dishes worth eating were delivered well, and they weren't overwhelming or gimicky. Just good ol' Japanese and Japanese-Western dishes. I didn't like the dinner because I felt a lot of them were kind of gimicky. I was a bit disappointed that none of them felt like they were representative of Hokkaido dishes though."

"Our stay was relaxing and right off the main road before reaching Toyako. The cabin was very nice and a good size. The food was excellent and the owner very accommodating. If you are looking for a place in town, where you can walk from your room to along the boardwalk and visit shops, this might not be for you. It's a short drive to the town. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Kamui as a couple. We rented the one bedroom apartment condo with kitchen, the room is very spacious and we were able to relax in the living room after snowboarding. The condo is 2-3 mins drive to Annupuri and 15-20 mins to Hirafu. Will definitely come back again in the future!"
