"The architecture and layout of this casa was pleasing & interesting and quirky but very well maintained & in excellent condition. Our room was quite spacious and the housekeeping was excellent. Lots of steps to room and breakfasts (separate area for some rooms)so be forewarned that this casa is not for the person that cannot handle steps. Communications with the "managers"were limited. "I booked a premium room and the pictures were different from the room that we received. We open the door to the room and it leads to a sink and a bathroom. There is a balcony inside the bathroom (shower area) and a small loft with a bed on the top. The bed was uncomfortable and we couldn't stay in the room. Wifi was almost non existent. Only plus point was it was walkable area. Wouldn't recommend. Only stay if you speak spanish and want to get charged for breakfast at the end of your stay. No...

"We had a wonderful time at Hostal Los Villanueva. We were welcomed by friendly Elias upon arrival and met Moises who work at the Hostal. They were very helpful and friendly, we felt like home! They not only looked after us but we had insightful talks with them and learned a lot about Cuba, very interesting! Our bedroom was super clean and comfortable, with bath walk-in shower, TV with a wide range of channels, fridge and air con. We highly recommend this Hostal. ❤️"
