"Good but heater was not working "

"Had a lovely day out at the nearby zoo and this hotel was very convenient to be able to stay close by and enjoy a mini break. The staff and service was brilliant and really friendly. The hotel is a little tired in places but the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Disappointed that the swimming pool was closed during our stay but it didn't affect our overall experience. Food in the restaurant was lovely and breakfast was also really good with lots to choose from. Would recommend "

Coffee on side not individual pots, cold even when new lot made and cups too small, so kept having to get up for refill."

"Bugle is in great location. Appreciated late checkout. Many flights of stairs to access very small overheated room. Bathtub was dirty; no shower option. Noisy location. good continental breakfast. We were only registered guests in large historic bldg. "

"My stay was for one night as i was travelling from the Midlands to do a cycling sportive at The New Forest the following day, with an early start. The staff were very polite and helpful, the room had just been decorated and the only issue was the showerhead could have done with either a good scrub or changing. All in all a pleasant stay couldn't hesitate booking again."

"Very friendly staff at St Leonards and every part of my stay was so easy. Food prepared and served quickly and the room was very clean. Only downside was if you have a room at the front of the hotel it becomes very noisy at night as the hotel is right on the A31."
