"Lovely staff , food good , comfortable bed, spotless. Only complaint, room poorly lit and the light by main mirror did not work so seeing what you were doing, trying dry your hair was a bit difficult !"

"Being on the ground floor, the room above had very creaky floorboards and was very noisy, had to put toilet paper in my ears so i could sleep. Have stayed here several times but always been on an upper floor. Will bring earplugs next time incase"

"Great night away for wife’s birthday. Gave a free upgrade to deluxe room. Very comfortable bed, made use of the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Bar on top floor is excellent with an incredible view. Duck fries are very special!"

"I stay here for business purposes and it's one of my favourites. It's got character, the staff are wonderful,food is delicious and the bed is divine. Will always choose here when I'm in the area. Well done everyone!"

"Lovely property. Rooms need a bit of a work as starting to look older in a few places. Very clean and quiet which was great. Food was lovely in the restaurant but quite pricey from certain dishes. I would say worth the price but wouldn’t do it 2 nights in a row."

"Beautiful thatched cottage, large enough to accommodate 4 generations over the Christmas period. Great communication with the property manager, always very responsive and willing to call round and answer any questions. Easy access to the hot tub was especially appreciated. Location of the property is excellent to access activities without a long drive. We stayed 11 days and didn't run out of things to do and places to visit.
